Personal Profile

Maggie Wood comes from a long line of artists and designers. An accomplished musician and fine artist, her passion for elegant design and commitment to sustainable principles is her trademark.

Maggie is actively involved in the green design movement and was a co-founder of the sustainable design resource and journal Sustain. She holds advanced degrees in both architecture and interior design from Smith College and the University of Massachusetts, and has a research background in environmental health and the built environment.

Maggie lives with her husband, an organic farmer, by the sea on the beautiful east end of Long Island.
